Tool maker (Stationed in Batam)
Responsibilities:
Main Purpose of job:
- Technician is responsible for solving technical problems of mould, jigs & fixtures – repair, modification works, cleaning and serving for overhaul maintenance. And ensure all the machine and tools can operate and use accordingly.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Visualize and compute dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances of assemblies, based on specifications.
- Study blueprints, sketches, models, or specifications to plan sequences of operations for fabricating tools, dies, or assemblies.
- Develop and design new tools and dies, using computer-aided design software.
- Clean and service of molds, jigs & fixtures for overhaul maintenance
- Support other department to fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools, using machine tools and hand tools.
- Ensure good housekeeping practice in the workshop
- Able to work independently and some time in under pressure
- Requirements:
- Must have experience on tool machines as like milling, grinding, turning and EDM
- Minimum High school level or diploma holder in mechanical engineering
- Able to work independently & team work
- Good interpersonal skills
- Able to work under pressure
